Communications and Business Operations Manager
📍 Global — Remote
Seniority level — Mid Level
Employment type — Full-time
Evidence only creates impact if it reaches the people who need it. As Eticas.ai's Communications & Business Operations Manager, you will make sure our research, evaluations, and our story get in front of the right audiences — while keeping the systems behind our growth running smoothly day to day.
You will own the engine that connects our content, our leads and our team: managing what we publish and where, keeping our CRM and knowledge base organized, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks between marketing, sales and leadership.
This is a hands-on, generalist role at a small and fast-moving company. You will work closely with the team members who set our content and growth strategy, turning that strategy into consistent, well-organized execution across our tools and channels. There is huge scope for growth, as you would be the first employee fully focused on this function.
How we work
We're a fully remote team, spread across time zones and continents — but we work very closely together. We stay aligned through regular team syncs and project check-ins, and we default to clear, proactive communication and organized documentation, so distance never becomes disconnection.
We give people real flexibility in how and when they work. In return, we expect real ownership: you're accountable for outcomes, not hours online. It's a team built on trust, where independence and collaboration reinforce each other.
Key responsibilities
Own day-to-day content publishing across our channels — planning, scheduling, and posting, across our website and social channels.
Maintain and update our content database, ensuring it accurately reflects our current positioning, research and published work.
Maintain our Notion-based content and knowledge systems — keeping the publishing queue, content pipeline, and internal documentation current and easy to navigate.
Manage incoming leads in HubSpot: logging and qualifying new leads, keeping the pipeline organized, and routing leads to the right person on the team.
Design and execute outreach campaigns.
Support coordination between Growth, Policy, Research and leadership so communications and operations stay aligned.
Track performance metrics for content and lead generation, and flag trends or issues to the team.
Requirements
Fluency in English (written & spoken).
3-5 years of experience in marketing operations, communications, product marketing or business operations.
Hands-on experience with HubSpot (or a comparable CRM) for lead and pipeline management.
Experience planning and publishing content on LinkedIn and other social platforms (experience managing automations is a plus).
Comfort working with Notion or a similar work-management / knowledge-base tool.
Basic design skills, including video/image edition.
Basic website content management experience using design tools (Squarespace, Hubspot, etc…).
Strong written communication skills and close attention to detail.
Comfort using AI tools for scale while maintaining judgement & original thinking (read our AI usage policy)
Comfort working independently and proactively in a small, remote, fast-moving team.
Who we are
We are a mission-driven company founded in 2012 as one of the first firms dedicated to AI auditing. We independently evaluate and monitor AI systems. Our socio-technical team — empowered by the Eticas.ai platform — evaluates AI systems end-to-end, in the production environments where they actually run, turning rigorous evidence into practical tools for responsible AI development and deployment.
Eticas.ai has completed more than 200 evaluations across 15+ industries, with clients across four continents, covering expert and predictive systems, LLM-based systems, and agentic systems. Our work follows a repeating cycle of independent evaluation, continuous monitoring, and periodic re-evaluation — giving organizations verifiable evidence that their AI is doing what it was designed to do, while remaining fair, safe, and accountable.
Eticas.ai is the sister organization of Eticas Foundation, a non-profit whose mission is to build public-interest auditing capacity through community-led audits and shared evidence on AI harms.
